The Charles H. Flowers High School 2020 drama production is Dreamgirls. Show dates: April 17–18, 2020; April 24–25, 2020; and May 1–2, 2020. “DREAMGIRLS”, which is based on the 1981 Broadway musical, chronicles a time in American musical history when rhythm and blues blended with other styles of popular music to create a new American sound. Inspired by Motown and R&B legends of the 1960s-70s, “DREAMGIRLS” follows the rise of three talented ladies Deena, Lorrell, and Effie.
