GBMC will be hosting its 5th Annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes. Our SAFE/DV team cares for victims of all ages in a confidential, non-judgmental atmosphere at no cost to the patient. The program treats physical injuries and is also there to help re-empower survivors to begin the healing process. Our team works in conjunction with law enforcement, the State’s Attorney’s Office and with sexual assault counseling providers to help end sexual assault and intimate partner violence in the community.
