A special performance of this musical and seasonal gem. Messiah has been a staple of the choral repertoire since the 1750s, when annual charity performances at London's Foundling Hospital were led by Handel himself. The St. Bartholomew Choir and friends will be joined by guest soloists and orchestra of period instruments. Admission is free; donations gratefully received to support St. Bartholomew's music and outreach funds. Seating space is limited. Early arrival is encouraged.
